Private lessons are priced per hour, semi-private and group clinics cost less per player, and most clubs run junior programs after school and adult drills in the evening. The USTA organizes the national rating (NTRP) and the adult and junior leagues most players join; the USPTA and PTR certify coaches. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and New York follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

February 25th at about 7:15pm on east 92nd street in Manhattan one of your van drivers ran a red light and was inches from hitting me. There were also about eight other pedestrians at the corner of the intersection. That's just crazy behavior for a company car.

This is our son's second year attending the John McEnroe Tennis Academy summer camp, and we’re already planning to return next year. The program is well-organized, the facilities are world-class, and the coaching is simply outstanding. A heartfelt thank you to Coach Kumarβ€”your support both on and off the court has made a lasting impact. And a big thank you to all the coaches for your dedication, encouragement, and expert guidance. You’ve helped our son grow not just as a player, but as a person. We’re truly grateful!

Coach Ajay Kumar runs one of the evening advanced adult ATK (drill and play clinics) and gives super helpful tips throughout the 2-hour session. So much so, that I wanted to pursue training with him 1 on 1 to improve my match play results. I connected with Ajay right away and he gave me immediate, actionable feedback/tips for all areas of my game (especially serve and return of serve) and the results were truly fantastic! From March > August I achieved a 14-2 win/loss record in my USTA match play! The relationship developed into a true team feeling and I look forward to training with Ajay before each big match. I cannot recommend him enough - just don't take too much time away from my training with him, lol! He is also such a nice person - Highly Recommended!

My daughter, Vania, had a wonderful time at the JMTANY Tennis camp. Great coaching team and staffs! I especially appreciate Coach Ajay, for his kindness towards my daughter. His workout recommendations and technical corrections for Vania helped her a lot during the Road to NYC Championship Tournament, wherein she won her first USTA L6 Championship. 😊 Coach Santo is also very thoughtful and generous. His kind words motivated Vania to train harder and do well in Tennis. Last but not the least, Vania was also very fond of Coaches Pavlos and Blake, as they were really nice to her during the camp.

The JMTA program is the absolute best. Between all the coaches and the on court, professionalism above all- is top notch and much appreciated. Brian has been beyond essential to our daughter and family. The BEST coach! Ajay is also fantastic and cares about all the players.
